Well, Here's our baby. As you can see she is still up on shore. We have been working every day that the temp is over 45 trying to get her ready to splash. Wax just doesn't work when it's too cold. Last Saturday we had our name added on the transom. We also had MC numbers placed on the bow. We have one final coat of wax to apply and we should be ready to go.

I've started cleaning the cabin. We loaded 6-8 boxes of "stuff" onboard; but have not had time to put anything away. I'll post interior pictures when it is presentable.

We need to get our aft cabin bed put back together. Unfortunately the boat was not winterized until late last year; and in the rush the water heater was not completely emptied. It developed a crack somewhere and was leaking water; so they replaced it. It is under our bed; which had to be dismantled to do that.

We have to clean carpeting inside the boat yet and clean the carpeting that was on the aft deck and in the helm area. The exterior carpet unsnaps from the deck; so we took it home to clean it. As soon as we get a nice day we'll roll it out on the driveway and wash it.

Lots to do yet. We wouldn't be in this much of a hurry usually; but the marina where the boat is stored insists that it is in the way to launch other boats. So we need to get ours done so they can get it in the water and out of the way. It will be nice to be all done with it in early April. It will give us some time to do some things in the yard. : )

  1. Looking good... our boat has big sails and small motor... but we have room for you on our docks. Let's go out to dinner at one of the riverfront restaurants downriver when you get down this way. Linda

  2. That sounds like fun Linda. We want to take some small trips this summer.
